Guests pay the price of the stay plus one flat service fee. Hosts pay a 10% commission out of their own payout. Payments are processed by Paystack.

What does a guest pay on Roomly?
The price of the stay — the nightly rate multiplied by the number of nights — plus one flat service fee based on that subtotal.
The fee is a fixed amount per tier, not a percentage, and it is capped at ₦10,000 however large the booking is.
How much is the Roomly service fee?
It ranges from ₦500 on bookings under ₦15,000 to a flat ₦10,000 on bookings of ₦1,000,000 or more. The full table is below.
The fee is fixed at the moment you book, so it does not change afterwards even if the tiers are revised.
What commission does Roomly take from hosts?
Roomly takes 10% of the booking subtotal from the host’s side. It is deducted from the host’s payout and is not added to what the guest pays.
So a guest pays the subtotal plus their service fee, and the host receives the subtotal minus the 10% commission.
Who processes payments on Roomly?
Paystack. Card and bank details are handled by Paystack, not stored by Roomly, and host withdrawals go to a Nigerian bank account that Paystack has verified.
Is the Roomly app free?
Yes. The Roomly app is free to download on the App Store, and there is no subscription or listing fee. Roomly earns from the guest service fee and the host commission on completed bookings.

Bands are inclusive of the lower figure and exclusive of the upper one — a subtotal of exactly ₦15,000 falls in the ₦1,000 band.
