Questions and answers

Who can leave a review on Roomly?

Only a guest who has completed a stay. A booking becomes eligible for a review after its check-out date has passed, so every review on Roomly comes from someone who actually stayed.

How many reviews can I leave?

One per booking. If you stay at the same property twice, each stay can be reviewed separately.

Can I edit or change my review?

Yes, for 48 hours after you post it. After that the review is fixed.

Where do the star ratings on a listing come from?

A shortlet’s rating is the average of the reviews guests have left for it, shown alongside the number of reviews.

A listing with no reviews yet simply shows no rating — Roomly does not display an estimated or placeholder score.

Can a host delete a bad review?

No. Hosts can read the reviews their properties receive in the Roomly dashboard, but they cannot remove them.
